Never Let It be Said That To Dream Is A Waste Of One's Time.

California, Company Feature, Orange

NEVER LET IT BE SAID THAT TO DREAM IS A WASTE OF ONE’S TIME. FOR DREAMS ARE OUR REALITIES IN WAITING. IN DREAMS, WE PLANT THE SEEDS OF OUR FUTURE.

FEATURED: THE POTTING SHED BY CARLISLE

The plant life cycle starts when a seed falls on the ground. There are many different kinds of plant life, but the flowering plants are more than beautiful objects to look at or decorate with; they serve a very important purpose in the reproduction of plants.

Jack is the owner of The Potting Shed by Carlisle, and his business was just a dream, just a seed, that started more than 20 years ago. Every time he passed by 403 West Chapman Avenue in Orange, California he would dream. He had a vision for an amazing garden space that he would someday create, but every time he tried to lease the property it was grabbed up before he had the opportunity.

In 2013, a home décor boutique leased the building and outdoor space, Jack decided he would try, once again but with a different approach. He just walked in to inquire about the neglected garden area. The owners had no idea of how to run a garden, which was the perfect in for Jack. He has an extensive garden and design background. Soon, Jack’s seed of a business started to sprout. Overtime, with long days and lots of work, his start-up turned into a upscale home and garden center. He grew quickly and has been expanding ever since. The Potting Shed now offers a full menu of workshops and events. The best part about Jack is his sense of community. He hosts local club meet and greets, Chapman’s Greek Life, serves as a trolley stop, and the mayor even frequents the shop. He supports local fundraisers and events, and support the vintage, antique and handmade community as well. Many of us would say that Jack is one of the nicest guys around because of his willingness to partner up with small businesses and promote them as much as possible. He doesn’t see anyone as competition, but, rather, looks for opportunity for two companies to grow.

Although he is a savvy businessman, Jack is just a small town, good guy sweetheart. He is kind and welcoming to everyone that walks in, and makes his store feel like as if you just walked in his home. There is just something special about The Potting Shed that you need to experience.Their next event is a Driftwood Planter workshop on September 12 with two sessions at 10:30 and 2:00 and costs $40 per person
